We’re at a point where we want to move beyond just executing individual creator collabs and actually build a repeatable growth strategy that works across Russian and US markets.
The problem: What worked brilliantly in Russia—aggressive urgency, scarcity messaging, rapid-fire content drops—doesn’t translate directly to the US. American audiences respond differently to timing, tone, and even what constitutes “proof” that something’s worth buying.
I’ve been thinking about this: If there’s a pool of US marketing experts who understand both markets, their insights could be invaluable for helping us adapt strategies rather than just copy-pasting what worked at home.
Usually we figure this out the hard way—by running a campaign, seeing it underperform, then having awkward conversations about why. But what if we could get that strategic input before we brief creators? Like, an expert could review our approach and say: “Here’s what you’re doing right, here’s what won’t work in this market, and here’s how I’d adapt it.”
Has anyone actually worked with people who specialize in this kind of cross-market translation? How much does that input actually change campaign performance? And practically speaking, where do you even find someone like that?
I’m trying to figure out if this is worth building into our process or if most agencies just muscle through and learn by doing.
