Hey everyone, I’m wrestling with a problem that I think a lot of us face, especially those of us trying to scale campaigns internationally.
We’ve been running influencer campaigns mostly in the Russian market, and they work pretty well—we know the landscape, we have relationships, the metrics are solid. But now we’re trying to coordinate the same campaign across US-based influencers, and it’s… messy.
The challenge isn’t just finding good creators on both sides. It’s the coordination nightmare. Different time zones, different contract expectations, different content styles, different reporting standards. We end up managing two completely separate campaigns instead of one cohesive strategy, and the ROI just doesn’t scale the way we hoped.
I’ve been thinking about this—what if there was a better way to share knowledge between US-based experts and Russian-market specialists? Like, actual collaboration instead of parallel work. I’m curious: are any of you dealing with this right now? How do you coordinate influencer partnerships across these markets without losing your mind? And more importantly, how do you measure the ROI in a way that makes sense when you’re juggling different currencies, platforms, and audience behaviors?
I’d love to hear your real experiences, not just what the case studies say.
- Считаем ROAS (return on ad spend) отдельно для RU и US блогеров
This is a classic playbook issue, and I’ve seen it at scale with our DTC brand. Here’s what works:
First, let’s separate infrastructure from execution. Your coordination problem isn’t really a people problem—it’s a systems architecture problem. You need:
-
Single source of truth for campaign data - Everything flows into one dashboard. Not two databases with sync issues. Every influencer, every metric, every deadline is there.
-
Standardized reporting - Currency conversions, time zone adjustments—all built in. Your analysts spend 10 minutes interpreting data, not 2 hours reconciling it.
-
Regional hypothesis testing - Run micro-experiments. Pick 2-3 creators per region, test different messaging and formats, measure conversion quality (not just engagement), and scale what works.
What I’d measure specifically for ROI:
- Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) by region and creator tier
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) by source—US influencers might bring different customer quality than RU ones
- Attribution window—track how long someone converts after click
One thing most brands miss: the real ROI isn’t the first month. It’s discovering which creator/market combo gives you the best CLV ratio. That takes 3-4 cycles to see clearly.
My question for you: are you currently measuring CLV by influencer source? If not, start there. Everything else is secondary.
