This is SO important and honestly, as a creator, when I get a brief like this, I’m immediately more confident and deliver better work. There’s no ambiguity, no second-guessing myself.
What would make this even better from my perspective: if there’s a revision process, include that in the brief too. Like, tell me upfront—do you typically ask for 2 rounds of revisions? What does that look like? When I know that, I can pace my work differently.
Also, I think the case study angle is genius. It’s so much more helpful than just written guidelines. Seeing actual examples of what succeeded and why makes the whole thing click.
