Looking for Russian-rooted tech startup to collaborate on content – who's ready to partner?

Hi all, I’m Mark, and I run a US-based DTC company that’s been exploring deeper partnerships with Russian and Eastern European tech brands. We’ve noticed something interesting in our market data: there’s a real appetite for collaborative content that bridges these two markets, but the execution is messy because finding reliable partners is hard.

We’re specifically looking for startups with Russian roots that are scaling internationally. For us, the ideal partner would be someone who:

  1. Understands data-driven marketing (we’re very metrics-focused)
  2. Has a similar brand ethos around innovation and transparency
  3. Is ready for a real, long-term collaboration – not just a one-off sponsored post
  4. Can navigate the cultural and regulatory complexity of cross-border campaigns

We’ve tried the usual channels – agencies, influencer networks – but it’s been tough to find partners who tick all these boxes and also bring authentic positioning to the table. I’m wondering if there’s a more strategic way to identify these partnerships, especially when you factor in the bilingual, bicultural component.

How have others here approached this? Are there specific communities or platforms where Russian tech founders hang out that we should know about?
