I just finished coordinating my first campaign with a mix of US and LATAM creators, and the onboarding process was honestly messy. Different expectations, communication styles, understanding of deliverables—it all took longer than I expected.
For US creators, I’ve got templates down pretty well. But with LATAM creators, there’s more back-and-forth. Sometimes it’s language-related, sometimes it’s different industry norms, sometimes it’s just that the creator and I have slightly different ideas about what “deliverables” actually means.
I know some teams are using bilingual platforms or coordinators to handle this, but I’m trying to understand: is there a standardized way to think about this? Can you create scalable processes that work across borders, or is every creator relationship going to be somewhat custom?
I’m also curious about contracts and payment. Do most people handle this differently with LATAM creators? Are there legal or payment industry issues I should know about?
